The greenhouse in which the encyclopedias of art and science are located symbolizes the stored knowledge, art and culture of a time that has collapsed. Encyclopedias only gather dust on the shelves and bear witness to another time. By planting plants in encyclopedias, it is questioned whether the accumulated knowledge has its purpose today, whether new shoots sprout on old foundations or whether it only serves to decorate shelves in living rooms with already glued covers. 
The greenhouse is illuminated only from the inside and invites the viewer to observe and reflect on the devaluation of social values while observing the "dead" books lying on the shelves from which a new life is sprouting.
